What are Monthly Active Users (MAUs)?

MAUs represent unique users who authenticate through Housecarl in a given month. All pricing tiers include unlimited MAUs, so you only pay for API usage.

How is billing calculated?

Billing is based on your monthly API call volume. All API calls to Housecarl's authorization endpoints count toward your limit.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time through the Console. Changes take effect immediately, and billing adjusts on a pro-rata basis.

Is there a free trial?

The Free tier provides full access to Housecarl features with 1,000 API calls per month at no cost. No credit card required.

What is the Service Level Objective (SLO)?

After production launch, Housecarl targets 99.5% availability SLO for all paid tiers.

Can I try new features before they launch?

Yes. Interested parties can engage with our Staging environment to get advance access to upcoming features. The Staging environment does not carry availability guarantees, but allows you to evaluate and test new capabilities before they reach production.
